Steve Gerrard is a world renowned cave diving instructor, guide, photograher, conservationist and explorer.  The original "Cenotes of the Riviera Maya" book is no longer available.  Instead, Steve has revealed that:

"My new version of the book “THE CENOTES OF THE RIVIERA MAYA” will be published in early 2014.  I have been diligently working on this project for quite a while.  It will be an E BOOK with five times the information compared to the 2001 book."

Through his tireless efforts, the world of the Mayan cenotes will be opened up to you in this new ebook, with spectacular underwater photos, informative maps and comprehensive text.

Using the menus above, you are invited to explore the original book, and to peruse the testimonials.  Until the new ebook is available, you are encouraged to consider purchasing his other books, "Cave Diving - Safe and Smart" and "Cavern Diving - Safe and Fun".

"If there is one place in the world that offers the perfect ingredients for safe and enjoyable cave diving, it is the Caribbean coast of Mexico's Yucatan peninsula.  Located between the tourist destination of the Puerto Aventuras Marina Resort, and the Mayan village of Tulum and further south, a gold mine of underground streams slowly draining into the sea represents the type of underwater caves that appeal the most to both the recreational 'tour' cave diver and the serious explorer seeking new passageways."
